Each workout has been carefully designed for dancers to target the key muscle groups recruited during turns. Power Pirouettes is a strength training DVD for all pre-professional through professional level dancers. Workout with Ballet Strength Coach and former professional ballet dancer, Nikol Klein, as she guides you through each exercise circuit while you follow along!

Muscle Groups Utilized During a Pirouette
Each contributing muscle group used during pirouettes is targeted thoroughly in your workouts including the main muscle groups illustrated (to the right) – core, inner thighs, glutes, rear deltoids, chest, lats, hamstrings, calves, and so many more!
Each workout including the warm-up is roughly 30 minutes in length. Watch you turns improve as you increase your muscle awareness with Power Pirouettes.
The Power Pirouettes DVD is geared towards pre-professional and professional dancers who are looking to start cross training to give their dancing an edge to launch their professional careers. No ballet shoes or studio required – this DVD is strictly strength training.

Bought this over the summer to do on my break. I like that this is a follow along workout. During the rest periods there are quick video clips of dancing which is pretty cool to watch while you take a break between sets.
